Philanthropist and Entrepreneur Abdel Russell

Hi, and welcome to my website/blog. My name is Abdel "Sosa" Russell. I am a second generation immigrant who was raised in Brooklyn, NY, who later became a naturalized citizen of this great country.

 

I'm currently a registered business mentor for New York state, an Author, a silent partner in numerous businesses, an investor in intellectual property (music), and I'm also a stay at home Dad/Husband who struggles to keep up with the ever demanding role of a 'male' homemaker and entrepreneur. During my life I've grown to appreciate many things about this country, and at the same time I've also scratched my head at some things that have left me bewildered. But, none of the things that left me bewildered has ever made me want to live anywhere else in the world, and I can honestly say that America has given me (and I'm sure has given you as well) many opportunities to advance in life.

 

Between my combined 15 years of working as a manager in banking and retail, and my decade plus entrepreneurial (self employed) experience in the independent music and entertainment business, I have learned and experienced many things, and I am looking forward to sharing these lessons, and some of my thoughts, with the visitors of this website/blog.

 

Along with my experience, I will also be sharing my opinions on a lot of the issues that are facing this great country. I'm sure that some of the things that I will post on this website/blog will rub some people the wrong way, but I am also sure that many of my opinions will make some people scream hallelujah at their computer screen or their mobile device. My goal for this website/blog is to give advice, provoke thought, share my business and personal experience, and also I hope I can remind my visitors about the magic that still exists in this great country.
